Introduction
The hotel I have chosen for my paper is Shangri-La Toronto. It is situated on Adelaide Street and University Avenue, in the west of the city’s Financial District. Previously, the site was home to numerous small structures such as the Bishop's Block. At 30 m, Shangri-La Toronto has one of the most beautiful and tallest buildings of Canada (1997).
When it comes to talking about the menu of this hotel, we should notice that a variety of wines, bears, breakfast, lunch, and dinner deals are present. The way the meal is served to the guests is both unique and impressive, speaking of itself about the vibrant Canadian culture. The best breakfast deals are berry banana smoothies with the champion, Royale eggs with smoked salmons, a sauce of the guest’s choice and a glass of wine (Knaus, 2012).
At the lunch, the guests are served with sandwiches, pasta, soups and fresh salad along with their regular meal. In the dinner, they get a chance to enjoy smoked cucumber, golden potatoes, fried salmons and creek lamb. Amazingly, all of these food items are served with wines like Gonzalez Byass Alfonso Oloroso, Sant’Alfonso Chianti Classico, Red Icewine, Refosco, Grenache-Syrah, and Duval LeRoy Brut. The hotel has a vast number of white wines, red wines, champions, sweet wines and premium wines for the guests (1997).
