Movie review: Transamerica The issue of sexual identity and sex change is a thing that has occurred in the past. There have been many instances that individuals have also desired to get transformation through surgery just like what Bruce (Catylin) Jenner did. However, there are several movies which have taken interest in this, and one of them is Transamerica, which was directed by Duncan Tucker and was released in 2005. This movie features a transgender man dressed as a lady by the name Huffman but he introduces himself as Bree. He desired to undergo the surgery but there were other issues which came, like the fact that he had a son he didn't know about. He also wanted to keep the fatherhood in a secret form his son (Tucker, 2005).
