These statistics show the impact of the contribution of plastic materials to environmental pollution. This means that the best remedy to pollution is to stop or minimize using plastic materials, especially single-use plastics like plastic bags, plastic straws, plastic food, and surgical gloves. Most of these are often used once, after which they are disposed off. The best action to address environmental pollution through non-biodegradable plastic bags is to opt for reusable options, recycle plastic bags, big brands being part of the solution, and create public awareness about the effect of non-biodegradable materials on the environment.
People should source reusable bags in place of plastic bags. Adopting reusable products is good for the environment and people.
