Social media is increasingly becoming integrated into people’s lives where users set up individual profiles and present themselves to other users, generate content and interact with content produced by their friends and other users online. Social media platforms have become primary networking sites with users spending considerable amounts of time online.
I have had a Facebook profile for quite some time now. With Facebook, I can connect with friends, family members, classmates, and acquaintances. The platform gives me an opportunity post and shares content such as photos and status updates with them. I am also able to access content shared by other users online. Although I use Facebook alongside other social network sites, I estimate that I spend 2 hours daily on Facebook.
