Introduction
Designers understand that creating a rich picture of problem space creates a solid pathway to solutions. Designs help designers map down what people are doing, how they are doing it, and why they are doing it. Ideally, the approach to problems through designs offers multiple perspectives possibly not seen without design. With the design, there is massive growth and transformation in today’s society. Simply put, design is the 21st-century innovative engine, driving change across all sectors of the economy. There is the possibility to develop services, technologies, and products without engaging design-driven professionals. Still, it is undeniable that having design-driven experts offers a unique skill set that leads to better results and reduces risks attributed to development. Businesses stand the chance of leveraging from designers and design-driven professionals in today’s societies.
Design
Design is defined as a method of human expression following a system of highly developed thinking or procedures to imbue objects, experiences, and performances with significance. The thinking behind design sets up the basis through which people redefine problems, understand things and people, and challenge assumptions. For example, design has the potential to solve problems in business, construction, art, product development, among others (Ünlü & Alaçam, 2021). Art design, fashion design, project design, system design, business design, construction design, and décor design embody creativity and expertise.
All these designs are human-centered approaches to innovation and play a key role in transforming how people develop services, products, and processes. Ideally, through these designs, it is possible to communicate and influence change. In addition, design, which results from critical thinking, offers the directions necessary to solve problems. For example, project design is that key phase in project management where key features of the proposed project, including criteria for success, project structure, and other major deliverables, are established. With such designs, it is easier to establish and put everything needed to have the project run successfully into completion.

Designer
Designers are specialists in creating the perfect experiences. They must constantly embrace creativity, conceptualize new ideas, models, and imaginations through their visual works. They are the ideal experts in experiences and will come up with the idea, style, creativity, perception, and the understanding and organization necessary to develop a new solution to problems (Maudet et al., 2017).
