‘Free Will’
Free will is the liberty to do as we will without any restrictions whatsoever. The decisions we make should bring the exact amount of results I expect. Our lives however appear to have an external control thus we do not have free will and this begs the question whether we are authors of our lives and do our choices matter?
We are subjects of determinism and fatalism and should we be held responsible of our actions? We live in a world where our actions are too inconsequential in comparison to reality and our action do not bring about an otherwise reality (Chiang).
In order for us to be responsible for our actions then we must be the generator of our existence. Free will requires ultimate self-origination then only can one be responsible of their own actions (Strawson).
