Climate change is an important topic of our times. Experts have argued that unless humans take of the environment, the future is likely to proclaim doom is as far as climate change is concerned. Climate change is particularly a complex problem in Australia. There are several reasons for this phenomenon. First, Australia is the faces the most severe consequences of climate change among the developed countries. Australia experiences a large number of severe weather events compared to other developed countries. These severe events include droughts and floods. In the recent past, Australia has experienced elevated temperatures in some regions. For instance, some regions experienced temperatures that were up to 50 degrees Celsius (Pearce et al., 2018). This kind of temperature is harsh and life-threatening. People living in areas that experience such high temperatures are at an increased risk of developing cardiac arrest. Evidence has shown that heat waves emanating from such high temperatures have the potential of causing cardiac arrest. When some extreme climate change occurs, Australia seems to be the worst hit among the developed countries. Against this backdrop, one can conclude that climate change is a complex problem in Australia.
