In a one-page response, answer the “Constructed-response question” Parts “a” and “b” below the activity.
* The main purpose of the plan is developing the fine motor skills, improving the writing skills of the child and increasing the creativity of the child. I was able to determine the purpose of the activity by examining some of the potential improvements the activities were aiming to achieve.
* There are some potential revisions I could be able to make activities. One of the most important revision I would be able to make for the activities is having different materials for the children to make. Additionally, I would give the children tool like basins or buckets so that they will be able to create their own designs comfortably. During this process in would also ask the children to write their names on the board or on pieces of paper? This will improve their writing skills. Additionally, they will also be able to increase their creativity and their fine motor skills. The last change I would make is asking the children to solve some simple mathematical problems. Since the children like playing on the sand, it would be very enjoyable to have them solve the mathematical problems on the sand. This will enhance their fine motor skills and mathematical skills.
Then, using the activity format, create your own activity plan focusing on one of the standards from the state standards you accessed. You may choose any age level to focus on, ages 3-8. This should be one page in length. Make certain that you add the state standard you are focusing on in the activity plan.
