Provider of care
These are medical professional that have the training on practicing medicine or surgery or any other person that is trained on provision of health care services.
Manager of care
These are persons that are trained on how to provide health care services to the patients and at the same time have the ability to manage health care facilities with reference to the resources(Ellis & Hartley, 2008).
Member of the profession
This is a term used to refer to the professional health workers in general manner, as belonging to a group.
Explain in detail providing at least 2 examples where you can identify with the roles you've defined.
The role of a provider of care is given in elaborate detail on page 57, where the issues, documents the roles of a baccalaureate graduate. According to the article, the role of a baccalaureate graduate relate to those of a provider of care. The article further refers to the providers of care as being similar to that of the associate degree graduates as evident on page 126.
The role of the manager of care is likened to that of an associated degree graduate again on page 126. This is a term that is commonly used by most colleges that train on health care and the roles of the position may overlap with those of other titles, such as provider of care and member of the profession(Ellis & Hartley, 2008).
On the same page, the member of the profession is also used in reference to care providers as is evident on page 126, where the title is used alongside those of provider of care and manager of care(Ellis & Hartley, 2008).
