The field I desire in the criminal justice field is to become a Police Officer, currently, I am a Corrections Officer. I apply several elements of ethics, morality, as well as integrity in my daily duties. The three significant elements of ethics, morality, as well as integrity that would associate to the role of a Police Officer are professionalism, honesty, and respect.
Professionalism: it will be significant to study and ensure professionalism whereas establishing moral reasoning (Grant, 2002) to identify and evaluate criminal activities. As a Corrections Officer and future Police Officer, I will be able to effectively minimize crime if I operate ethically and professionally. I will have the capability to make moral decisions as well.
