The case of Plessy v. Ferguson is perhaps one the most interesting cases that was decided by the United States Supreme Court. In this case, the petitioner Homer Plessy was alleged to have violated the Separate Car Act of the State of Louisiana, which mandates that the Blacks and the Whites should ride separate accommodations in the train.
