Schafly was one of the leading proponents of a different approach to the idea of the feminist movement. Notably, she framed the conservative women by showing the advantages of being an American woman and how this relates to the feminist movement. She noted that in the world, the concept of the American woman is one of the most privileged since they have "the most rights, rewards, and the least amount of duties" (Schlafly, 1972).
In addition, Schafly noted the importance of family in terms of the woman's security. Traditionally, the feminist movement believed in women's equality, especially regarding their financial security and capacity.
