Childbirth was a dangerous hazard for women. Men died in war. In the midst of these frequent occurrences of death was the recurrence of the Bubonic Plague, also known as the Black Plague. The Black Death pandemic of 1346-1351, also known as the Bubonic Plague, was a disease that wiped out the population of medieval Europe. The disease killed a third of the people in Europe. The Black Death was considered a horrifying disease in history, which spread through among the traders quickly. A severe consequence of the plague was a reduction of land under cultivation. Many laborers died due to the fast spread of the disease.
