Artworks: Art Gallery Of Ontarios Permanent Collections

The two works of art selected for this paper are “Untitled” (Portrait of Ross in L.A), 1991” by Felix Gonzalez-Torres and “Two Minutes of Spray Directly upon the Floor from a Standard Aerosol Spray Can, 1968” by Lawrence Weiner. Felix Gonzalez-Torres’, “Untitled” (Portrait of Ross in L.A), 1991, is multicolored candies, with an ideal weight of 175 pounds, and dimensions variable. The Felix Gonzalez-Torres Foundation owns its copyrights. Lawrence Weiner’s, “Two Minutes of Spray Paint Directly upon the Floor from a Standard Aerosol Spray Can, 1968”, is a collection of Sol LeWitt, Sol LeWitt’s Hester Street Studio Floor in New York in the late 1960s.
