Aerobic Training Program for an Adolescent
           Aerobic training or exercise entails physical activity that increases a person’s heart rate for a specific period (Healthychildren.org, n.d.). It strengthens an individual’s heart and lungs and improves the functioning of the muscles (Ten Hoor et al., 2015). Aerobic exercise also helps maintain normal body weight—a lack of aerobic increases the chances of being overweight and obese. With the rising cases of overweight and obesity, adolescents are advised to practice physical activity regularly to prevent the problems. Therefore, I would design an aerobic training program for this population by listing the aerobic exercises necessary for adolescent girls and boys. Examples include walking or hiking, swimming, running, jogging, biking, playing games, performing yoga, and dancing. 
           After listing the aerobic exercises, I would develop a routine workout schedule as follows:
