Strategic Sustainability Plan for Emergency Disasters When it comes to choosing strategic partners and interagency collaborators the most significant thing to focus on is the establishment of proper response linkages that will enhance the emergency preparedness network to respond to an emergency or disaster appropriately. In particular, effective community linkages are formed by identifying the right stakeholders (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2018). In that light, these specialists should be well-trained to be prepared for emergency management. The benefits of training and allowing participation of healthcare professionals in disaster management are saving lives, providing first-aid to injured people on the disaster scene, and preventing adverse health consequences to the affected population.
