Essay Instructions:

The purpose of this assignment is to analyze how an organization's quality and improvement processes contribute to its risk management program.
This assignment builds on the Risk Management Program Analysis – Part One assignment you completed in Topic 1 of this course.
Assume that the sample risk management program you analyzed in Topic 1 was implemented and is now currently in use by your health care employer/organization. Further assume that your supervisor has asked you to create a high‐level summary brief of this new risk management program to share with a group of administrative personnel from a newly created community health organization in your state who has enlisted your organization's assistance in developing their own risk management policies and procedures.
Compose a 1,250‐1,500 word summary brief that expands upon the elements you first addressed in the Topic 1 assignment. In this summary brief, address the following points regarding your health care organization and its risk management program:
Explain the role of your organization's MIPPA-approved accreditation body (e.g., JC, ACR, IAC) in the evaluation of your institution's quality improvement and risk management processes.
Describe the roles that different levels of administrative personnel play in healthcare ethics and establishing or sustaining employer/employee-focused organizational risk management strategies and operational policies.
Illustrate how your organization's risk management and compliance programs support ethical standards, patient consent, and patient rights and responsibilities.
Explain the legal and ethical responsibilities health care professionals face in upholding risk management policies and administering safe health care at your organization.
Relate how your organization's quality improvement processes support and contribute to its overall journey to excellence.
In addition to your textbook, you are required to support your analysis with a minimum of three peer‐reviewed references.

Role of the Organization in the Evaluation of Quality Improvement and Risk Management
The community organization is built to create links within the community’s health system through the health of the community health workers. The main objective is to expand the healthcare systems, especially to the marginalized and hard-to-reach areas, while maintaining high-quality care and patient safety (McCollum et al., 2016). To achieve this goal, the organization goes through risk assessment, analysis by prioritization, planning of interventions, implementation, and evaluation (Hopkin, 2018).
In the previous paper, we have discussed that the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) is a MIPPA-approved agency that aims to assess healthcare organization standards to ensure the quality of the community healthcare facilities by understanding the organization’s risk management plan to lessen the mortality and morbidity rate in the community (Williams, 2018).
The risk management plan implemented was patient-centered, including fall prevention, infection control, and pressure sore minimization. To evaluate the strategies, it is recommended to have an expert panel that includes internal medicine, neurology, family medicine, rehabilitation medicine, and orthopedics. The incidence shall be tallied monthly, and the experts shall review the approaches used (Kim et al., 2017).
Roles of Different Administrative Level
Health Administrator
The roles and responsibilities of a health administrator differ from one organization to another. In this organization, the following are included in his obligations: 1) Supervising all the staff in the community health facility by coordinating with the health manager.; 2) Overseeing the treatments of the patients to ensure a high-quality care delivery.; 3) Controlling health information and security to maintain patient confidentiality.; 4) Managing the organization’s financial capacities.; 5) Dealing with human capital.; and 5) Warranting health providers' complianceith legal matters and internal policies CITATION Doy19 \l 13321 (Doyle, 2019).
Healthcare Manager
The healthcare manager has a role in moral and legal matters to safeguard the patients’ health and safety. Generally, the healthcare manager works together with the administrator at a lower level. This position is responsible for implementing policies, creating and regulating systems, evaluating procedures, and managing organizational climates. To execute the job properly, the healthcare manager needs to prioritize its needs while maintaining a balance between administrative and health objectives. Moreover, the healthcare manager needs accuracy, leadership skills, and excellent communication skills to properly propagate the information in the organization's hierarchy (Parand et al., 2014).
Ethical Standards, Patient Consent, Patient Rights and Responsibilities
The organization’s risk management and compliance programs adhere to ethical standards by protecting the patients’ rights and ensuring that the community's health providers deliver to their responsibilities. All the progr...
