The learning objectives that I had set at the beginning of the course and as time moves on during training have been achieved through various outcomes and theoretical and practical learning, as seen below and references from various nursing books, journals, and articles. Learning is a continuous process, as I have seen from time to time and every situation that I have had to handle has added value to the course objective and me as an individual. Every level of learning will have its aims that I will toil to achieve, but so far, I have managed to achieve the recently set.
The hospital setup is an environment that requires a nurse to be creative at all times in managerial matters and any day-to-day responsibilities. I have therefore been in a position to experience how to be innovative and apply it to my daily skills. For this to be possible, I had to understand what is meant by innovation, the guiding principles, and under which circumstances it should be applicable. I have also found it relevant to comprehend the role of an innovator both currently and in the future situation (Weberg & Davidson, 2019).

Innovation has a theoretical part, but I had come to understand innovative skills are acquired and improved with experience as for practicality. An innovator is a risk-taker, which is important because it promotes idea generation at work.

The theoretical content on change, theories of change, and resistance to change have helped me cope with all manners of change. The change may not be what one as an individual would prefer, but I have learned that when it happens to accommodate and use it for the greater good. An example is the reshuffling of duties across the different wards. This needs one to be up to the task in all setups and to read more to meet the required standards.
Nurses have always been the backbone and pillar of the health care system. A nurse was valued as a doctor in the past, and people, especially others, took to heed a nurses' opinion. In the current society, nurses are still a stronghold in healthcare facilities. They have a massive responsibility to ensure positive outcomes for their clients. I have understood that nurses are expected to pass on their knowledge and skills in the past and even in current times. I have also learned that problem solving is crucial in a nurses' career. In...
