Children's immunizations are commonly used to measure the quality of treatment and as an endpoint in evaluating interventions to increase vaccination coverage. Immunization status is a vital component of performance measurement in this case. Most health care providers prefer conducting routine vaccination in their quest to improve the provision of quality care. Immunization status and clinical preventive services relate when assessing process measures (Beaton, 2018). Both technical care standards and medical record requirements effectively assess vaccination outcomes. Technical issues require careful attention and evaluation to attain improved immunization outcomes.
The measure is chosen due to its accurate measurement of the intervention program applied to control diseases. The number of persons eligible for vaccination and the ones vaccinated is essential to determining vaccination coverage and quality of health.
