Technological integration is essential for improving patient outcomes and service effectiveness as the healthcare sector develops. In order to use developing technologies to accomplish these objectives, nursing informatics, a specialty that blends nursing science, computer science, and information science, is essential. With an emphasis on using artificial Intelligence (AI) to strengthen nursing informatics and enhance patient outcomes or care efficiency, this proposal seeks to develop a nursing informatics project inside our healthcare organization.
Proposed Project
The proposed project entails creating and implementing a clinical decision support system (CDSS) driven by Artificial Intelligence. This CDSS will help nurses and other healthcare professionals make choices based on the best available evidence, streamline processes, and enhance patient care in general (CDC, 2022). In order to deliver real-time suggestions and warnings, the CDSS will use machine learning algorithms and natural language processing to analyze enormous volumes of patient data, medical literature, and best practices.
