There is a big difference between a mission statement of a community health center and that of a hospital or a clinic. The differences come in because the health systems target different populations. As such, they have to align their mission statement with their targeted population. In this regard, a community health center’s mission will center on the targeted community; hence, it has a specific targeted community. On the other hand, a hospital targets a large variety of people; thus, it is not limited to the people who can seek healthcare services from the hospital.
