Evaluation is the important stage of the developmental stages of any plan and provides the stakeholders with the necessary information on how to improve the plan. The collected data needs to be analysed after which it should be evaluated to measure the outcomes of the plan. This paper addresses the primary issues such as how project objectives will be achieved and the implications of this study in future studies. After the collected data has been analysed, there are various methods which can be used to measure its success. The results of the analysis can be used to draw conclusions and recommendations for future studies.
Methods
There are a number of methods for collecting data to demonstrate the true picture of visits to critical care units. The first method is questionnaires which will be given out to the patients, their relatives, nurses, and physicians as well as hospital management (Chan & Woo, 2010). Moreover, observations will be used to collect data from the hospital making it anonymous. Making this method anonymous will make it more confident and not involve anybody. Also, scaled checklists will be used as well. The above methods are chosen due to their flexibilities as methods and ease of collecting data.
Questionnaires and observation methods have the capabilities of obtaining a large quantity of information from a large group within limited resources. Moreover, the collected data can be quantified either manually or with the help of analytical software. On the other hand, scaled checklists simplify the situation and probable effects contributing to decision making on how patient outcomes can be improved.
Measuring Success
