In 2011 in the state of Pennsylvania a pediatric was arrested and charged with 24 accounts including “first degree rape, second degree assault and sexual exploitation. “The 58 year old Earl B. Bradley was accused of assaulting more than 85 young children over the years he worked at Beebe hospital. He is currently serving 14 year life sentences plus 164 years. The hospital is always facing multiple charges one of them being that they allowed this kind of behavior to continue right under their noses.
Three physicians that worked closely Bradley were also charged with not reporting suspicious action going on the hospital. The hospital is also facing countless suits due to this case. The class action is said to involve about 7000 people. The case resulted to a lot of measures being taken by the hospital who say that they did not know what was going on but the government insists that it was they job to know what was going on. They was no such way that more than 85 children were raped and sexually assaulted by one man and no one in the entire hospital suspected a thing. To make matters worse Bradley is said to have been a chief pediatric at some point in that hospital meaning that the care of this children were placed in his hands. The nurses and doctors who worked with him say “we called him the pedophile doctor, but no one acted on that. “Bradley is said to have taken advantage of the parents trust because they allowed him to take the children to a private room where he claimed he was doing medical examinations on them.

The Pennsylvania state has put in measures to protect children for this kind of assault again. One of those measures are that a parent should not knowingly leave a child unsupervised individual who is not a parent o known to the parent or one that is rumored to a sex offender . For example the parents of the children who were sexually assaulted by Bradley should have not allowed him to take their children to another room unsupervised. This is how they gave him a chance to take advantage of these children.
Another measure put by the state is that no adult should have any sex with a child by this I mean any person who is underage. It doesn’t matter if the child gave him consent. For example the daughter may have claimed that the children he raped gave him consent. The consent doesn’t matter because this children most of the time they don’t know what they are agreeing to.
