Pediatric ultrasounds are perhaps one of the most useful and commonly used technique for pregnant women. Its safety, efficiency, and reliability make it an indispensable tool for any healthcare provider, especially pediatricians. However, a review of the three studies cited in this article reveals that ultrasound and other forms of echocardiograms are susceptible to discrepancies based on both internal and external factors surrounding the procedure. The following sections would discuss some of the studies supporting this issue.
