Health workers would often find it hard to discuss medical processes, scientific reasons, and medical analysis with people who have already gotten their diagnosis or treatment from outside a health institution. Sometimes, it is the people's personal beliefs, background, and experiences that hinder them from seeking professional medication. Because of this, the health sector struggle to push for the medication they know would assist the person in their condition. Before the doctors could even check the patient for diagnosis, they may have to do some explanation and persuasion. When the doctors have passed that phase, and it's time to inform the patient of the medication process, a conflict may rise again because of consent. In this type of situation, medical health workers are struggling to convince patients that the diagnosis and medical intervention are necessary.
Cultural differences like beliefs, language, tradition, and values have become hindrances to the communication between a health worker and a patient. Although health workers are trained to relay any medical-related news to patients in the best way possible, the mindset and personal beliefs brought by cultural influence may get in the way of comprehension.
