My project was to improve the medical healthcare in the hospital through the elimination of medical errors caused by nurse shortages. Therefore, after the implementation of the new technology and employment of new nurses, I will evaluate the outcome. The dependent variable that I will choose during the evaluation of the EBP project will be the quality of medical care accorded to the patients in regard to their satisfaction. This variable will help in the determination of whether the changes that have been made in the hospital are improving the healthcare accorded to the patients. The variable will also determine whether the nurses have free time to attend to more patients.
