The Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES) is a professional nursing organization headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1973, the organization aims to improve diabetes care through innovative education, management, support, and behavior change interventions (ADCES, n.d.). It hosts healthcare professionals like dietitians, nurses, and pharmacists who specialize in educating patients about diabetes and self-management tactics.
