Health Informatics, a subfield of medicine, incorporates technology and nursing science to standardized administration and information communication between nurses, patients, and health caregivers. Informatics can be used in interdisciplinary communication to facilitate interpersonal- communication between healthcare providers in different fields. Because patients' data is stored in a central place and can easily be accessed by nurses, physicians, dentists and other caregivers in different fields, getting information becomes easy, thus facilitating communication of patients' data. With reducing errors and promoting safety, health informatics is effective as it helps systematize the tracking of patients' diagnostic data and the administration of prescribed medicines. Health informatics promotes proper diagnosis, accurate prescription of drugs, proper use of medical tools and accurate recording of patient's information ("How using health informatics can improve health care treatment", 2020).
