Terry Shaw: AdventHealth is a large-scale group, association, and affiliation comprise over 2,000 physicians, advanced and specialized practice providers, residents, doctors, and faculty members. Our health providers' network spans nine states - offering you an unparalleled continuum of care across the country. We offer unmatched specialized and primary care services supported by primary care doctors, pediatricians, surgical specialists, and other physicians who can provide client-centered services.
What is your position within the healthcare organization?
Terry Shaw: I am the chief executive officer (CEO) for AdventHealth. Over a long time spanning more than 25 years, I have focused and dedicated my energy to working with various healthcare leaders in offering innovative solutions to healthcare challenges.
Interviewer: Describe your role and scope of responsibilities.
Terry Shaw: my obligations, roles, and scope of responsibilities are quite extensive. I am expected to provide critical leadership in various spheres of AdventHealth Group. The fundamental obligations entailing this position include streaming financial, operations, and clinical performance and process within the AdventHealth Group with its associates or affiliation. My core responsibility is to create a blueprint that nurtures a more Christian healthcare framework that is clinically effective, practical, and well-integrated. I provide leadership for Advent Group, which is a healthcare system in the U.S, by overseeing 50 hospital campuses across nine states. One aspect of my leadership responsibility is to ensure a continuum of integrated care made up of emergency care centers, home care units, hospice, physician practices, and skilled nursing centers. Thus, I provide crucial directions that facilitate partnerships and proper coordination in financial, operations, and clinical care.
