I was not sick by the time I visited him, but I just wanted to have him perform a physical examination. I think that the doctor is experienced in the provision of physical examination services and I would recommend other people to him. Chemocare defines physical examination as a routine check from the primary care provider to provide an assessment of health progression. This paper discusses my experience with the doctor during my last physical examination by health promotion, health prevention, and my comfort as a patient. The doctor evaluated my nutrition, lifestyle, and exercise. He noted that I had earned some additional weight and enquired about my physical exercises or whether I had enrolled for a gym program. He also enquired about my nutrition and asked the time I had been taking my meals. He asked about my drinking habit and whether I was smoking. Since I was not any medication, the provider did not explain the side effects of any medication. The provider checked my blood pressure, cholesterol level, and blood sugar. He explained that it was necessary to check them because sometimes they may rise without my knowledge. He found that my cholesterol level was above normal, and we set an agreement for a plan of care. I was impressed with the environment at the provider’s clinic. The environment was welcoming, calm, and clean. There was a fan in the office, comfortable chair, and clean resting bed. Windows were open to let in fresh air. He also appeared composed; dressing in clean closed and gave me maximum attention. His phone was in silent mode, and he was not interrupted by a phone call...
