Elimination Complexities Case Study
Introduction
The case study presents Mr. C, aged 32 years and a single male. He is currently suffering from obesity working at a telephone center. In the last two years, he has gained around 100 pounds and has been obese since birth. Currently, bariatric surgery is the most appropriate for him to cure obesity.
Clinical Manifestations Present in Mr. C
Evaluating the case of Mr. C requires critical observation of the clinical signs that he is manifesting. This is important as it will assist in ensuring he receives the appropriate care. From the observation, he shows clinical signs of high blood pressure, obesity, and high blood sugar. His height is 68 inches and weighs 134.5kgs. He has a blood pressure of 172/98, and his fasting blood glucose stands at a high 146 mg/dL. Further, his serum creatinine was recorded as 1.8 mg/dL while his HDL was 30 mg/dL. These account for the clinical signs that he is manifesting and the need for a healthy lifestyle for the patient.
Potential Health Risks for Mr. C and the Appropriateness of Bariatric Surgery

Further, Mr. C needs guidance and counseling on how to lead a healthy lifestyle, such as lifestyle choices and eating habits to manage his weight and control weight gain.
