The Connection between Epidemiology and the Causality of Diseases

Health disparities are constantly formed, resulting in various strategies to reduce the gap between the marginalized group and those with higher social status. The diseases the people have always encountered have their specific origin, which explains how they are formed or caused and what are they are made of. The connection between epidemiology and the causality of diseases is relevant as both significantly influence the medical field.
Jung (2018) described epidemiology as a study of the distribution of specific diseases and the cause of their distribution. While Miller (2015) also provided an epidemiological triangle that explains the connection between an agent, host, environment, and time to identify the causation of a disease.
