Introduction
It is reported that each year, Earth’s population increases by 1.1% every year. In the United States, this means a 0.7% to 0.9% annual increase which places its population to roughly about 326 million in the year 2017 CITATION Wornd2 \l 1033 (WorldPopulationReview.com, n.d.). Nonetheless, an increase in population also means an increase in the possible risks during an outbreak of any disease. Thus, in the succeeding sections of this article, the author would conduct an analysis of its support systems, staff, infrastructures, and approach, among others. This includes their plan of action designed to mitigate the risks of the increasing population. In the next chapters, a plan designed to address some pertinent problems would be outlined as well as a comparison of this organization to another (Singapore Airlines).

In order to do this, the institution establishes different infrastructures and support systems in the federal, state, community, and international levels. It also invests and provides funding to other institutions in foreign countries in order to prevent outbreaks that might start overseas and pose a threat for the country. In terms of staffing, the institution employs around 15,000 employees employed in 150 different occupations. Their staff are also posted in more than 120 companies, and working together with different agencies in order to gather information about new strains of viruses and diseases. As per its budget, the CDC is funded by the United States’ government by $7.2 billion, which is more than enough to respond to any emergency, develop preventive measures against any potential diseases (i.e., vaccine-development), and engage in research and development collaborations with institutions around the world CITATION CDC18 \l 1033 (CDC.Gov, 2018).
