Introduction
Breast conditions are of various kinds, and they affect women differently across the globe. The most common breast condition is breast cancer, which is eating up the population of women in the world. Other non-cancerous breast conditions include cysts, lobular hyperplasia, Lobular Carcinoma in Situ (LCS), Adenosis and Fibroadenomas among others. The good news is that all these conditions are treatable. There are different conditions associated with the breasts apart from cancerous infections. While in the practicum, there were so many breast conditions reported, but the one that will be discussed in this paper is the breast cyst which was observed from one of the patients.
Causes of Breast Cysts
A breast cyst is a benign condition. It is not cancerous as most people may confuse it. When fluid accumulates in the glands of the breast, they lead to the formation of cysts. The real causes of breast cancer are not well defined, but the experts associate them to hormonal changes. Others associate it the women who have undergone a hormonal replacement therapy. Women who are approaching menopause, especially those around 35-40 years of age are the most vulnerable group.
