Branding gives meaning to a product and shapes the image of the product on a consumer’s mind. Branding enables consumers to quickly identify with products and services. A brand goes beyond the physical features of a product or service, it is the feelings customers develop towards a company’s product. Despite the competitive nature of markets, brands are unique and never copied, unlike a product. A brand would be a logo, symbol, image or a message that communicates a message to a potential customer. In order to attract customers, organizations compete in making their brands exclusive to channel traffic to their products. In healthcare, branding is also a significant component. In fact, it is crucial as many people take their health cautiously and require quality health care services. Thus, this paper discusses the branding aspect of the Allmed Medical Corp.
Allmed Medical Corp’s name creates a brand in itself. Always in bold and capital letters, the name gives an insight into what the company does. For instance, Allmed Medical Corp promises to keep customers well. If an incident occurs that compromises the promise, then it affects the organization’s reputation and operationalization. In essence, with a bad reputation, it signifies a bad brand and low customers relating to low income that would hinder the company from operating. Lischer (2017) states that on the edge of technological advancement, strong brands with appropriate positioning will have a high return on investment.
Branding and advertising are basic strategies of marketing employed by companies. They aid institutions to achieve their marketing goals. However, branding should not only be at the face value of symbols and names but on the fulfillment of the stated concepts of brandingCITATION Jac131 \l 1033 (Fellows, 2013). Allmed Medical Corp should incorporate a quality assurance aspect in the naming brand such as “Quality healthcare for you.” Also, the organization would utilize its customer care services to build a strong and quality brand that reflects on the hospital’s services. Gupta et al. (2013) stipulate that creating a good relationship with patients through good customer experience is the ultimate goal towards an effective branding. They indicate that customer care experiences such as patient comfort, clean and welcoming...
