A kidney stone is a lump whose size varies with time from that of a grain of sand to that of a tennis ball. Over the past few decades kidney stones have become popular among adults with the higher percentage of them being male. Its causes vary from one person to another. One can get it from genetics, excessive intake of uric acid through vitamins, long term dehydration, excess calcium or other minerals in the diet, urinary infection; excessive sweating that causes loss of fluids from the body, wrong diet of vegetables and fruits or through living an inactive lifestyle.
