Since childhood, I have always been drawn to the healthcare space. When I got admitted to the community college, I was elated and purposed to learn all the key concepts to excel in the nursing profession. Nursing is a critical profession that requires a high level of professionalism to offer quality care (Manouchehri et al., 2016). I was exposed to diverse chemistry, psychology, anatomy, and physiology practices pertinent to care and patient management during my undergraduate studies. I was drawn to the topics that the class forced me to think about and continues pursuing those questions through further seminars that allowed me to handle the advancing roles in nursing. With the basic principles in nursing, I grasped the practical techniques necessary to offer quality and efficient care. Under the patronage of my professors and a holistic school curriculum, I was able to master the nursing concepts applicable in the nursing profession. From the onset of my academic journey, I have learned and mastered the theoretical aspect of nursing while leveraging practical to gain extensive knowledge about the profession. During my educational endeavors, I was also exposed to numerous seminars; workshops that helped me handle emerging issues in nursing. For example, learning the complex dynamics of nursing during the basic anatomy and physiology classes forced me to think and advance to level 2 anatomy and physiology, allowing me to synthesize my elective role in the nursing profession. The University experience offered immense possibilities and opportunities to learn from nurses spearheading the matters that I am most passionate about.
