Additionally, its establishment was due to the merger of different healthcare organizations in the United States. The key organizations that formed Banner Health include Samaritan Health and Lutheran Health Systems (Banner Health, 2022). The two organizations agreed to embrace a similar strategic direction that could offer healthcare to the United States citizens. The key target was individuals below the poverty line. Besides, the organization controls the Medicare Advantage Insurance plan that allows it to accommodate different patient needs and requirements. The organization has also partnered with different organizations, such as the University of Texas, to address common organizational issues such as cancer.
