Banner Health is one of the organizations that have significantly impacted healthcare quality in the United States. It is a non-profit organization based in Arizona (Banner Health, 2022). The organization operates thirty hospitals in six states. It is also described as one of the largest in Arizona. It is also the largest in the United States, with approximately 50,000 employees. It offers different services which adequately promote quality care and growth. Besides, it focuses on specific aspects of care, including rehabilitation, outpatient, hospice, and emergency care. The organization was established in 1999 with the key aim to provide quality care throughout the United States.
Additionally, its establishment was due to the merger of different healthcare organizations in the United States. The key organizations that formed Banner Health include Samaritan Health and Lutheran Health Systems (Banner Health, 2022). The two organizations agreed to embrace a similar strategic direction that could offer healthcare to the United States citizens. The key target was individuals below the poverty line. Besides, the organization controls the Medicare Advantage Insurance plan that allows it to accommodate different patient needs and requirements. The organization has also partnered with different organizations, such as the University of Texas, to address common organizational issues such as cancer.
