Microsystem Comparison - Maternal / Child Clinical Rotation

After your first clinical rotation on the maternal/child unit, write an analysis of the difference between the microsystem of a maternal/child unit and a medical/surgical unit. 
Describe how the nurses' ability to provide safe, quality care differs between these two units.

IN ST rose hospital at las vegas at labor and delivery unit. I witness a woman delivered C-section and i notice during the operation the labor and delivery nurse and the scrub technologist always communicating each other to account the equipment they used and also wet pads fall of blood. I also observed a vaginal delivery starting from first stage of labor to the expulsion of the fetus. All team were corroborated each other to achieve their goal to be successful.
