Introduction
Staph is a significant infection caused by a bacteria mainly found in germs that are in most cases found in the skins and noses of individuals as healthy as they may look. The staphylococcus bacterium in many occasions causes no problems in minor skin infections. However, when the bacterium invades the deepest ends of an individual’s body, staph infection may turn deadly. It may enter into the bloodstreams, bones, joints, heart, and even the lungs.
It is imperative to realize that a growing number of people are in this age developing the life-threatening infection (Leclercq, 2009). Treatment of this disease may include the use of antibiotics and drainage of the infected areas in an individual. Staph infection is a disease mainly caused by a strain of the Staph bacteria that becomes resistant to the use of antibiotics that are widely used in the treatment of ordinary staph infections. This disease may also be caused when healthy people have skin to skin contacts. It is widely experienced among childcare workers, and people who stay in crowded environments.

Due to the increase of this infection ascribed to the pathogens causing this infections failure to adapt to a new environment, many patients are seeking care in medical facilities. An emerging concern is however causing an alarm especially in patients who apparently have no risk factors for contracting this infection (Leclercq, 2009).
