The skeletal muscle is responsible for voluntary contraction. The muscle is linked to bones responsible for locomotion. The cells in that tissue are rich in actin and myosin filaments. The cardiac muscle is present in the heart and influences the heart's contraction. The heart is necessary to pump blood. Cardiac and skeletal muscles have a striated appearance. The smooth muscle is an involuntary muscle mostly present in the organ wall, such as the gastrointestinal tract, blood vessels, uterus, and bladder.
