Previously even though I have had statistics anxiety, I did not know I had one. Even though there was much fear of statistics, my fear was mainly asking for help anxiety. For instance, despite understanding that every individual could fail to understand a concept, I was usually nervous to ask for help from my fellow students or professors (Onwuegbuzie, 2004). The main reason I cared much about this instance was how people would perceive me. This instance usually caused me to avoid asking them questions even after acknowledging that sometimes they could have critical information to help me succeed in my education.
