People join the healthcare field for different reasons. Above the need for job satisfaction, generous salaries and job security that are often associated with careers in this field, one also gets the chance to make a difference in the society. I strongly believe that the most important change that one can make on earth is the change that touches the lives of people directly. This is the major reason why I got into this field. I have had a passion for human life for a very long time. By getting into healthcare provision, I will be in a position to help not only my patients but their families and friends in extension.

The idea of being part of the team that will be at the forefront in mitigating these risks inspires me to keep going. I did not expect the journey to be easy, but I am ready for everything that the course brings. Every day is a learning experience; a chance to build on my strengths and overcome my weaknesses, a step closer to the professional I want to be.
