Professionalism as an Educator
There are many ways an educator can build a positive collaborative relationship with all people around them. The collaborative relationship is essential as it enables them to have a supportive, cooperative setting with the students and promotes a positive relationship with the student families, coworkers, and the administrators in the organization. Therefore, this paper seeks to describe how to apply ethical codes, professionalism, and appropriate laws and policies to establish a supportive environment and collaborative relationship.
Students
The code of ethics defines the responsibilities of an educator to students. As an educator, I would embrace this by ensuring truthfulness, fairness, proper and sound behavior to all students at all times; this will be highly achievable through constant patience and understanding each student's needs (Belinova et al., 2021). The regular formulation of lesson plans builds a structure that is easy to follow by all students, and it will make them know what to expect in the course. I would keep from discussing private matters about my students unless forced to by underlying laws and policies.
Student Families
Whether face to face or via other sources of contact as directed by the administrators, be it zoom or phone calls, I will demonstrate impartial integrity to all parents about their children's progress in the school.
