Tatiana Gordon, a professor at the Hofstra University, published the text, ‘Using role‐play to foster transformational and social action multiculturalism in the ESL classroom’. The article focuses on discussing role-play in the class of English as the Second Language (ESL) and the advantages it gives while in use. The writer elaborates how the implementation of cultural theories and beliefs (Multiculturalism) is important in teaching English but challenging to adapt in teaching students from different native languages. Multicultural curricula and its challenges are evident with tangible evidences from other researched works.
