How Has Digital Technology Changed the Role of Photography in The Society?
Digital technology has been crucial in new advancements in the role of photography in society. Personal photography has been on the increase and has been used as a means for people to capture experiences and memories which are used for future reference and as physical memory (Van House 127). Photography has evolved into an essential tool for communication, whereby people can share their experiences.
Photography has gone through many developments as technology improves. This includes advances such as improved software solutions, faster and larger memory modules, improved processing speed, and others. For instance, the emergence of DSLR cameras has resulted in the emergence of professional photographers who can take pictures based on a wide array of settings, and the results are at an instance.
