I was born in a village area in China. I am a daughter of parents who happened not to be privileged to receive any education. In our family we live with our younger brother. I have constantly been exposed to the world of educational. Ever since I was young, I have found myself being independent, this meant that I had to take care of everything about school and learning. Meanwhile, I also needed to take care of my brother and his learning progress. I needed to help him in instances where he had trouble with his homework. By so doing my parents always asked my younger brother to come and ask me for help in doing his homework. Besides, when I was a child, the most frequent game that I played was pretending to be a teacher and my younger brother, and his friends were my primary students. I taught them the knowledge that I learned from school which brought a sense of accomplishment in me.
In college, I decided to major in Early Childhood Education. I believed I possessed the strengths needed in becoming a successful educator: the passion, circumspection，patience, and empathy. I believed that these strengths would be my sword and shield in my career. I wanted to be a teacher since I was young. I have insisted on this dream for a period of about tens of years. In these ten years, I have never given up this dream. Nevertheless, I like children very much, what entices me is their small hands and little feet. Ideas which are brought forward by children tend to be the most innocent and kind-hearted. Their hearts are like a blank sheet of paper without even a little bit of damage. When children smile they tend to impress me and fill my heart with joy and happiness. When I am sad and depressed, seeing children will let me forget all the unhappy things.
