Freire’s main point is that the education system has been plagued by the concept of narration during the delivery of information to students. As a result, students are hardly absorbing knowledge but rather, they are just echoing their teachers' narration which, in the end, affects their creativity. Westheimer’s main point is also of a similar opinion; that the education system does not provide students with skills to be creative and analytical unless the teachers change the existing narrative.
The concept of “problem-posing education” in Freire’ work is quite enlightening because it presents education as a continuous learning process in which both the teacher and the students are always learning from each other.
