RE: A PROPOSAL TO IMPLEMENT LEARNER-DRIVEN POLICIES IN SCHOOLS IN ARIZONA.
Hello, I hope you are well. I write this proposal to you and the people of Arizona under the principle of direct democracy, calling for the implementation of learner-driven policies in schools rather than a teach-to-test system as is currently the case. The teach-to-test system has been the basis of our education curriculum. Children go through their studies for the primary purpose of passing their tests. The tests used to determine a student's success are standardized. Standard tests do not consider the various factors that affect a student's success. This proposal expounds on why having a learner-driven education is beneficial compared to a teach-to-test system.
So what is learner-driven education? Learner-driven education is a system of learning that puts the student in the driver's seat.
