Compare and Contrast Online Education versus Traditional Educational Institution
Over recent years, human civilization has progressed exponentially. Today, technology has been integrated into every other sector and defines the relative progress in human beings’ tasks. The internet, in particular, has broadened the range of opportunities available and more so, in the learning process. The inception of online classes presents another angle in which education is being administered. Consequently, discussions arise on similarities and differences that emanate between conventional and online education systems. Various factors such as participation, time, flexibility, costs, learning process, scheduling, and communication are taken into account when comparing and contrasting the online and conventional educational systems.

In the traditional learning process, students have a fixated location where learning activities are conducted. Therefore, the environment accommodates a specified number of learners, which is usually dependent on the size of the class and more importantly, the learning institution. Furthermore, the conventional approach lacks the flexibility in that both professors and the students are required to be in a precise location at exact times. It is expected that in the lesson, students will have to sign their attendance sheets and thus, they cannot fail to attend the class. In this system of learning, f...
